Stefan was home

Stefan was home for the weekend, sort of. I saw him for about 15 min. The rest of the time was dedicated to getting his truck going, putting new tires on, new lights...

I hugged him, fed him, told him I was happy to see him, told him I pray for his safety every day on my knees, gave him two warm work shirts and he's gone again.

I too see my eldest infrequently and for short periods of time. Comes for a visit, I enjoy my time with him, feed him then send him home with a week's worth care package.
How must our Heavenly Father feel? I TRY to visit with him daily. I don't open the Bible as often as I think I ought. I forget He is ALWAYS with me. Thank you God for grace.

That's a good point Mary.

Somewhere I've read that love works downward. Our parents loved us more than we knew. We love our children more than they know and they will love their children.

Only at certain times of my life I realize what parents and other have done for me, or what they were going through, feeling, why they were maybe strange or upset me. There are reasons we don't always understand and later a light goes on.

Light is good. Gratitude is good. It comes suddenly from outside of ourselves.
